Guglielmo Vicario, the current Tottenham goalkeeper, has requested a move away from the London club this summer. The 29-year-old is eager to return to Italy after spending three seasons in English football. While Inter Milan were initially interested in the goalkeeper, they ultimately decided against pursuing a deal.
Juventus have now emerged as the primary suitor and are serious about bringing him to Turin. The club has submitted an offer for a season-long loan with an optional buyout clause set at €15 million. Reports indicate that the player has already approved the potential move, leaving only final club-level negotiations.
A formal agreement is expected to be reached shortly as Tottenham appear ready to accept the proposal. Last season, Vicario made 43 appearances, conceding 65 goals and keeping 13 clean sheets.
