Inter in talks to sign Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones
Serie A champions Inter Milan have opened advanced talks with Liverpool to sign 25-year-old midfielder Curtis Jones this summer.
Inter Milan have entered advanced negotiations with Liverpool regarding the potential transfer of midfielder Curtis Jones. Sporting directors Piero Ausilio and Richard Hughes recently met in Monte Conte to discuss a possible summer move for the 25-year-old.
The academy graduate is reportedly stalling on a contract extension at Anfield. Currently a bit-part player, Jones is looking for a fresh challenge where he can secure consistent first-team minutes. His ambition to earn a call-up for Euro 2028 after missing out on the 2026 World Cup squad is a key factor in his desire for a move.
Jones has been a versatile asset for Liverpool this season, making 49 appearances across all competitions, often filling in on the right flank due to injuries. His trophy-laden stint on Merseyside includes eight major honours, among them two Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy.
Both clubs are keen to avoid a protracted transfer saga, which could see a final agreement reached in the early weeks of the summer window. While Liverpool look for midfield reinforcements, the player is preparing for a new chapter in his career.
