German Super Cup 2026 date and participants confirmed
Following Bayern Munich's domestic double, the German Super Cup fixture and date have been set.

Following a successful 2025/26 campaign, Bayern Munich have secured a domestic double, winning both the Bundesliga title and the German Cup. This achievement sets up the upcoming German Super Cup, where the team led by Vincent Kompany will face the league's runner-up, Borussia Dortmund.
In keeping with tradition, the match will be hosted by the home side of the opponent. Consequently, the battle for the trophy is scheduled to take place at the Signal Iduna Park.
Tournament organizers have officially confirmed the schedule for the decisive match: it will be held on August 22, with a kick-off time of 21:30.
The current holders of the German Super Cup are also Bayern Munich, who claimed the trophy last summer after defeating Stuttgart.
