Georgiy Bushchan apologizes for behavior after Zorya match

Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Georgiy Bushchan has issued an apology following his emotional reaction during the Ukrainian Premier League match against Zorya Luhansk, which ended in a 2-0 victory for the Kyiv side.

In a statement posted on his social media, Bushchan explained that he had been subjected to insults directed at him and his family throughout the game. He admitted that he let his emotions get the better of him, resulting in a reaction that he now regrets.

"Football is always about emotions. But it can be different, especially when you hear insults directed at yourself and your family throughout the match. After the game against Zorya, I gave in to these emotions and provocations, and I allowed myself a reaction that shouldn't have happened." — Georgiy Bushchan
