The incident occurred during an internal practice match. Taylor reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with a tough challenge and responded emotionally to coaching instructions, leading Gattuso to intervene and demand the player leave the session immediately.
This marks the second conflict within the squad in just a few days, following an incident during a friendly match against Flaminia Civita Castellana. The recurring issues raise concerns about the current atmosphere within the dressing room.
