Tensions flared at Lazio's training base on Thursday morning when head coach Gennaro Gattuso abruptly ended midfielder Kenneth Taylor's session. Footage captured by Radio Laziale shows the manager storming over to the player before gesturing for him to leave the pitch.
Following a brief exchange of words, the Dutchman removed his bib and walked off the training ground toward the dressing room. While the exact trigger for the disagreement remains unclear, the incident highlights sudden friction between the coach and the midfielder.
Gennaro Gattuso was appointed by the Lazio board in late June, taking over the helm from Maurizio Sarri. Kenneth Taylor, who arrived from Ajax in January for a reported fee of €17 million, has been a regular fixture for the club, recording three goals and two assists in 21 appearances. Last season, he played a key role in the team's run to the Coppa Italia final.
