Gary Neville warns Michael Carrick after Manchester United’s late collapse vs Everton

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has delivered a scathing assessment of the team following their 2-2 draw against Everton. Neville warned current manager Michael Carrick that he risks repeating the same systemic errors that previously cost Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim their positions.

United appeared to be heading for victory before a 96th-minute equaliser from Ainsley Maitland-Niles denied them all three points. Neville pointed to a lack of a "killer instinct" and defensive complacency as primary issues that continue to haunt the squad.

Adding to the frustration is the fitness status of Marcus Rashford. The forward was forced off during the second half with a physical issue, which Carrick later confirmed. With United having secured only four points from their first three league fixtures, the pressure is already mounting on the new coaching staff to find a solution for their defensive woes.
