Galatasaray agree deal for Milan winger Rafael Leao for €45m
The Turkish giants have reached an agreement to sign Rafael Leao from AC Milan, with the Portuguese star set to earn €12 million per year.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are set to complete one of the biggest moves of the European market, having reached a verbal agreement with AC Milan for the transfer of winger Rafael Leao. The total package for the deal is valued at €45 million.
The Portuguese international has already accepted the move to Istanbul. Under the terms of the personal contract agreed with the Turkish club's leadership, Leao will earn €12 million per year. Both parties are currently finalizing legal formalities before the official announcement.
Leao’s move represents a major statement of intent for the Istanbul side. Since joining AC Milan from Lille in 2019, the winger has developed into one of Europe's most dangerous attacking threats. His standout performance came during the 2021/2022 season, where he helped the club win the Serie A title and earned the league's MVP award.
Despite earlier reports linking the forward with a potential switch to Aston Villa, Leao has chosen to move to Turkey. The clubs are expected to conclude the administrative side of the transfer in the coming days.
