Fulham completes signing of Elche defender

Fulham have officially completed the transfer of central defender David Affengruber. The Austrian moves to London following two standout seasons with Spanish club Elche.

Over the past two years, the 25-year-old established himself as a defensive anchor for his side, significantly raising his stock in the transfer market. During the previous campaign, he recorded 39 appearances, contributing one goal and two assists.

The deal is worth 12 million euros. Fulham have secured their new recruit on a contract that runs until 2030, with an option to extend the agreement for an additional year.
