Friendly matches: double wins for LNZ, defeat for Kryvbas

Ukrainian Premier League clubs are stepping up their preparations for the 2026/27 season, utilizing friendly matches to refine tactics and evaluate new players.

Cherkasy-based LNZ enjoyed a successful day in Slovenia, securing two victories. They first defeated Hungarian side MTK Budapest 4-0 and later edged past Slovenia's Olimpija Ljubljana 1-0 thanks to a goal from Tverdokhlib.

Lviv's Karpaty also recorded a win in Slovenia, narrowly beating local club Bravo with a strike from Karabin. Meanwhile, in the Kyiv region, Livyi Bereh cruised to a 4-0 victory over Kudrivka.

For Kryvbas, the trip to the Netherlands proved challenging as they fell 2-1 to Belgian team Zulte Waregem, with Yurchets scoring their only goal from the penalty spot. In Slovakia, Bukovyna played out a 1-1 draw against Zemplin.
