The 2026 World Cup group stage has concluded, with only three teams maintaining a perfect record by winning all three of their group matches. France, Argentina, and Mexico are the only nations to achieve this feat.

France has been dominant, starting with a victory against Senegal (3-1) before defeating Iraq (3-0) and Norway (4-1). With a goal difference of +8, the French side now prepares to face Sweden in the round of 16 on June 30.

Argentina has also looked impressive, led by an in-form Lionel Messi, who currently tops the tournament scoring chart with six goals. The Albiceleste secured wins against Algeria (3-0), Austria (2-0) and Jordan (3-1). They are set to challenge Cape Verde in the next stage.

Finally, co-hosts Mexico completed their group stage with 9 points, having beaten South Africa (2-0), South Korea (1-0), and the Czech Republic (3-0). They are scheduled to face Ecuador in the round of 16 on July 1.
