In the final match of the 30th round of the First League, Bukovyna secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Metalurh Zaporizhzhia. The game, which was moved to Chernivtsi by mutual agreement, served as a final celebration for the hosts.
Bukovyna had already secured the league title prior to this encounter. For Metalurh, who had already been relegated to the Second League, the match presented a final opportunity to climb out of last place, though they struggled to gain momentum throughout the contest.
Maxim Voytikhovsky opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a clinical finish during a one-on-one situation. The match turned decisively in the 24th minute when Metalurh goalkeeper Nazar Bayda was shown a red card for a foul outside the penalty area, leaving his team a man down.
Bukovyna capitalized on the numerical advantage shortly after, with Maxim Vorona inadvertently turning the ball into his own net following an effort from Ivan Tyshchenko. In the second half, Vitaliy Koltsov added a third with a long-range strike in the 74th minute, and Danylo Goncharuk completed the scoring in the 83rd minute.
