Former Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe player Filip Novák has expressed his disbelief regarding the current transfer activity in Turkish football. The Slovakian defender, who experienced the league firsthand, admits that the recent influx of top-tier talent into the Süper Lig is staggering.

"I don't understand what's happening. I don't know why so many stars are coming to Turkey, but I think it's perfect for the league. All the matches are completely sold out, and the fans are passionate," Novák noted. He explained that whereas the league was once a destination for veterans, the trend has shifted toward younger, elite players.

Novák emphasized that Victor Osimhen’s move acted as a catalyst, proving that Turkey could attract world-class players in their prime. This shift has encouraged other stars in their twenties to consider the move, with links to players like Mason Greenwood and Richarlison further highlighting the league's growing ambition.

"Things are starting to get out of control," Novák added. "I check social media every day to see who is joining a team, and they are all big names."
