FIFA has launched sales for a unique piece of memorabilia: small sections of the pitch from the New York New Jersey Stadium, the venue for the 2026 World Cup final on July 19. The pieces, encased in resin to preserve the grass, are available through the official online store.

Prices start at $450 for the standard edition. Manufactured by UK-based firm Keep Stub, the collection also includes premium tiers priced at $900, $1,200, and $3,000. Each tier is limited to 2,026 units, meaning a complete sell-out would generate more than $11.2 million in revenue.

The $3,000 "Hero Edition" features a larger grass section alongside a gold-etched metal souvenir ticket, a mini replica of the final match ball, and a crystal-cut glass World Cup trophy. Shipping for all units is scheduled to begin only after the conclusion of the final match.

The playing surface itself has been a point of contention during the tournament. Players from Brazil and France previously criticized the turf, which was sourced from a North Carolina farm and installed in May, describing it as dry and difficult to play on.
