FIFA announces 2027 Women's World Cup match schedule for host Brazil

FIFA has officially announced the calendar and match distribution across the eight host cities for the 2027 Women's World Cup, which will be held in Brazil for the first time. While the specific group matchups will only be determined during the tournament draw in December, the Brazilian national team, as the host nation, now knows its route through the group stage.

Brazil will kick off the tournament with the opening match on June 24 at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro. They will then head to the Neo Química Arena in São Paulo on June 29, before concluding the first phase at the Mané Garrincha stadium in Brasília on July 4.

The tournament will take place from June 24 to July 25, 2027. A total of 64 matches will be played across eight host cities: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Recife, and Salvador. Beyond the host nation, several teams have already secured their places, including Australia, Japan, Germany, Spain, Argentina, and Colombia, among others.
