Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim has commented on the potential transfer of Mohamed Salah, who recently departed Liverpool as a free agent. The club chief revealed that the 33-year-old forward's financial demands are substantial, though the door remains open for a high-profile move.
According to Yildirim, Salah is requesting a salary of 20 million euros per year. When accounting for taxes, the total cost of a three-year contract would reach 90 million euros.

Despite the high price tag, Yildirim noted that Fenerbahce does not rule out the possibility of bringing in the prolific attacker if the team's needs dictate such an investment.
Salah left an indelible mark on Liverpool during his time at Anfield, which began in 2017. Over 435 appearances, he scored 255 goals, becoming the club's third-highest all-time goalscorer and winning numerous honors including the Premier League and the Champions League.
