Edward Iordanescu turns down Dynamo Kyiv job
The Romanian coach initially agreed to lead the Kyiv club but later declined the offer due to family concerns regarding the move to Ukraine.

Dynamo Kyiv was in advanced negotiations to appoint Romanian coach Edward Iordanescu as their new head coach. According to reports, the parties were close to an agreement that would have seen the 48-year-old earn approximately 100,000 euros per month.
Despite giving his initial approval, Iordanescu ultimately walked away from the deal. The decision was driven by his family's reluctance to relocate to Ukraine due to the ongoing security situation in the country. Members of his coaching staff also expressed a desire to decline the move for similar reasons.

Dynamo Kyiv currently continues under the guidance of Igor Kostiuk. The club is currently in sixth place in the Ukrainian league after five matchdays and is not participating in any European competitions this season.
