Real Madrid is preparing for the return of key defender Eder Militao. The Brazilian center-back is nearing the end of his recovery process following surgery and is set to rejoin the squad soon.
According to Diario AS, the 28-year-old is expected to return to competitive action immediately following the international break, which is scheduled for late September and early October. The defender is currently working through an individual training program on the grass with the ball.
Militao has been sidelined since April after suffering a thigh injury that required surgery and ruled him out of the 2026 World Cup. His return will provide a boost to the team's defensive options.
The club is currently focusing on the start of the new La Liga season, with their opening official match scheduled for Saturday, August 22, against Espanyol.
