Dominik Livakovic reveals how Dani Olmo helped him shine on Barcelona debut

Dominik Livakovic made a surprise start for Barcelona in their dominant win over Sevilla. Despite earlier reports suggesting Wojciech Szczesny would serve as the secondary option behind Joan Garcia, manager Hansi Flick opted for the Croatian international in a tactical move the club later clarified was not a permanent hierarchy change.

For the 31-year-old, the match marked his first competitive appearance for the Blaugrana. Livakovic highlighted that reuniting with former Dinamo Zagreb teammate Dani Olmo played a crucial role in his quick adjustment to the new environment.
