Crystal Palace sign Tottenham defender Molly Bartrip

Newly promoted Women's Super League club Crystal Palace have signed Tottenham defender Molly Bartrip on a three-year deal.

Newly promoted Women's Super League side Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Tottenham defender Molly Bartrip for an undisclosed fee. The 30-year-old has committed to a three-year deal with the club.

Bartrip spent five successful years at Tottenham, racking up over 100 appearances and serving as vice-captain since 2023. She was a constant presence during the 2024–25 season, playing in every competitive fixture, and was a key part of the squad that reached the Women's FA Cup final for the first time in 2024.

The move sees the defender reunite with former Spurs captain Bethany England. Her arrival bolsters a Palace squad that is looking to establish itself in the top flight following their second-placed finish in the second tier last season.

Palace have been busy in the transfer market, adding a mix of experience and emerging talent, including last season's top scorer in the second tier, Lexi Lloyd-Smith.
