Former Barcelona winger Cristian Tello has officially announced his retirement from professional football. The La Masia academy graduate drew the curtain on his lengthy career on September 6, having racked up 512 professional appearances.

Tello burst onto the scene with Barcelona and spent his peak years competing at the highest level for clubs including Porto, Fiorentina, and Real Betis. Most recently, the winger featured in the UAE for third-tier side Palm City FC since October 2025.
