Corinthians sets date for Memphis Depay’s return
Forward Memphis Depay is set to report back to Corinthians this coming Monday, as the club begins contract renewal negotiations.

Corinthians has officially set the date for the arrival of forward Memphis Depay, who has been on vacation following his participation in the World Cup. The player is expected to return to Brazil on Saturday, July 25, and report to the club this coming Monday, July 27.
According to reports, Memphis is not expected to join training sessions on the pitch immediately. Instead, the priority will be holding meetings with the club's board to determine whether the forward will remain with the club.
Corinthians is keen to keep Memphis, and head coach Fernando Diniz views the player as an important part of the team's project. The renewal process is structured around three key pillars: alignment of interests, necessary adjustments to the financial terms of the current contract, and securing external financial partners to help cover the player's costs.
The club has already initiated preliminary discussions with potential investors. If the financial goals are met and sponsors are secured, the club believes a contract renewal is a viable outcome.
