Corinthians goalkeeper Rafael Juwer moves to Italian side Cavese
18-year-old goalkeeper Rafael Juwer is set to leave Corinthians for Italian club Cavese. The Brazilian club retains 20% of the player's economic rights.
Brazilian club Corinthians has finalized the departure of 18-year-old youth goalkeeper Rafael Juwer to Italian side Cavese, which competes in the country's third division. The agreement involves an early termination of the player's contract, which was originally set to run until March 2027.
As part of the transfer deal, the "Timão" will maintain a 20% stake in the player's economic rights, positioning the club for a potential share of any future transfer fees.
Juwer joined the Corinthians academy in 2022. During his time at the club, he gained experience through loan spells at Criciuma and Italian club AS Roma. He signed his first professional contract in early 2024, which included a release clause for international transfers set at 30 million euros.
