Club Universidad Nacional unveils new kits for Apertura 2026
Club Universidad Nacional has launched its new partnership with Puma, ending a 12-year association with Nike.

Club Universidad Nacional has officially begun a new chapter in its history by revealing its new kits manufactured by German sports brand Puma. This launch signifies the end of a 12-year partnership with Nike and the beginning of a fresh commercial era for the Mexican side.
The presentation event, held at the Polyforum Siqueiros, featured former club players Javier Cortés and David Cabrera. The agreement between the club and Puma is set for five years with an option to extend, as confirmed by club president Luis Raúl González and general manager of the brand, Sebastián Díaz.
Puma has opted for a classic design with a collar. The club crest has been slightly adjusted, now half a centimeter smaller, and features stylized feline eyes. Additionally, the jersey now displays the Raloy sponsorship, following the conclusion of the club's relationship with DHL.
The white away kit features golden details and claw motifs, emphasizing the club's identity. The team is already training in the new gear in Playa del Carmen. The kits are scheduled to debut on July 4 in a friendly match against Cancun FC.
