CIES names world's most valuable players with Yamal on top

The CIES Football Observatory has released its latest valuation ranking, featuring Lamine Yamal as the world's most expensive player.

The CIES Football Observatory has published its latest list of the 100 most valuable football players globally. The rankings were determined using the organization's proprietary statistical model.

The list is headed by 18-year-old Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, whose transfer value is estimated at €358.1 million. He is followed in the top three by Manchester City forward Erling Haaland (€227.3m) and Real Madrid attacker Kylian Mbappé (€165.7m).

The report also highlights players from Ukraine. The highest-valued Ukrainian player according to the CIES model is Brentford midfielder Yehor Yarmoliuk, with an estimated value of €66.5 million.
