Chelsea are optimistic about the recovery process of winger Estevao Willian following a significant hamstring injury. According to BBC Sport, the 19-year-old Brazilian sustained the injury over a month ago during a match against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, which subsequently ruled him out of the World Cup.
The London club expects Estevao to return to action by the start of the pre-season schedule. It is anticipated that he will be fit to join the team for their summer tour of Australia and Asia under new head coach Xabi Alonso.
The player's positive progress is attributed to a tailored rehabilitation program. After spending three weeks recovering in Brazil, he returned to London to support the team during the FA Cup final and the closing stages of the season. Chelsea are scheduled to play two matches in Australia and three in Asia this summer.
