The league phase draw for the Champions League takes place this Thursday, August 27, at 18:00 in Monaco. Attention in the Netherlands is fixed on PSV and Feyenoord as they discover their eight opponents for the upcoming campaign.

The draw process has shifted away from physical balls, now utilizing a computer system to determine opponents. Each club will face eight different teams, including two from each pot. Clubs from the same national association cannot meet in this phase, meaning PSV and Feyenoord will not face each other.

Under the current structure, the top eight teams qualify directly for the Round of 16. Those finishing between 9th and 24th enter a play-off round, while all others are eliminated from European competition entirely.

In the Netherlands, Ziggo Sport 1 will broadcast the event live, with coverage beginning at 17:30. Fans without a subscription can view the draw for free via the official UEFA website livestream.
