Chernivtsi side Bukovyna has officially announced the signing of 22-year-old Nigerian player Edwin Odinaka. The player has signed a two-year contract with the club and will wear the number 18 shirt.
Before moving to Ukraine, Odinaka spent two seasons with Bosnian club Zeljeznicar, making 62 appearances, scoring three goals, and providing eight assists. He began his professional career at Stupcanica, where he played for a year and a half.
The club expects the new signing to add tactical variety to the right flank. Odinaka is known for his versatility, capable of playing effectively as both a right-back and a winger, while being noted for his pace, work rate, and defensive reliability.
This transfer marks a notable milestone for the club, as Edwin Odinaka becomes only the second player from Nigeria in the history of the Chernivtsi team.
