Aurelien Tchouameni has firmly addressed the rumors surrounding a reported dressing-room dispute with his Real Madrid teammate Fede Valverde. The midfielder dismissed claims of a physical fight, describing the media narrative as nonsense.
Back in early May, an incident occurred during a training session that left Valverde requiring hospital treatment for a head injury. While Real Madrid officially stated the injury was caused by an accidental collision with a table, reports persisted that a brawl had taken place between the two players.
I've read that there was a fight and that I'm supposed to have hit him. That's simply not true. The most important thing is that the club knows what happened. Aurelien Tchouameni
The club ultimately fined both players 500,000 euros each following the incident. Tchouameni emphasized that despite the earlier reports suggesting their relationship had become untenable, he and Valverde are fully focused on their collective goal of winning titles for the club. He insisted that there are no remaining issues between them as they look ahead to their respective international campaigns.
