Madrid-based Atletico Madrid has renewed its interest in 20-year-old Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Ibrahim Maza. The club is looking to bolster its midfield and considers the Algerian playmaker a key option for a future transfer.
According to information, Atletico has already made contact with the player's representatives. However, they are not the only ones monitoring the situation. Manchester City maintains a strong interest in Maza, having followed his development since his days playing for Hertha Berlin.
Maza joined Bayer in the summer of 2025 and has quickly established himself as one of the most promising young players in the Bundesliga. His current contract with the German side runs until the summer of 2030.
