Athletic Bilbao sets historic revenue record excluding transfers
The Basque club concluded the 2025/26 season with record-breaking revenues of 192.9 million euros, excluding player sales.

Athletic Bilbao has released its financial results for the 2025/26 season, showcasing significant growth across key metrics. The club generated 192.9 million euros in revenue, marking the highest figure in its history when excluding income from player transfers.
This result represents an increase of 20.4 million euros compared to the previous year. The club’s EBITDA doubled to 38.1 million euros, while net profit saw a threefold increase, reaching 20.6 million euros.
Commercial revenue also saw a notable boost, with advertising and sponsorship income rising by 23% to 12 million euros. Total income from sporting activities reached 153.6 million euros, a 16% increase over the 2024/25 season figures.
The financial upswing is attributed in part to the club's participation in the Champions League and increased earnings from the operation of the San Mames stadium, which saw competition-related revenue grow by 19% to 59.7 million euros.
