Aston Villa to sign PSG talent Ibrahim Mbaye for €55 million

Aston Villa is nearing the acquisition of Paris Saint-Germain's 18-year-old right winger Ibrahim Mbaye. According to journalist Nicolò Schira, the Birmingham club is set to pay a fee of 55 million euros for the Senegalese talent.
Personal terms have reportedly been agreed upon, with a contract prepared that will keep the player at the club until June 2031. It is expected that the necessary paperwork will be finalized in the coming days, officially completing the transfer.
This deal adds to an already busy summer for the club, which, according to Transfermarkt, has spent 216 million euros on new signings during the current window. During his time with PSG, Mbaye has made 42 appearances, contributing four goals and four assists.
