Aston Villa open talks to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Aston Villa have entered negotiations with West Ham for the transfer of defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka to provide competition for Matty Cash.

Unai Emery has identified the right-back position as a priority area for improvement this summer as Aston Villa prepare for a season that includes Champions League football. After a move for Emerson Royal failed to materialise, the club has turned its attention to Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
West Ham United, following their relegation to the Championship, are understood to be open to allowing the 28-year-old to depart. Wan-Bissaka, who previously played for Manchester United, made 27 appearances for the London side last season but found himself behind Kyle Walker-Peters in the pecking order during the final weeks of the campaign.
Despite his club struggles, Wan-Bissaka impressed on the international stage for DR Congo at the World Cup, drawing interest from scouts. Emery believes his defensive prowess in one-on-one situations will provide the tactical flexibility required for his backline.
