Arthur Elias praises Kaylane and does not rule out Flamengo gem's debut

17-year-old Flamengo midfielder Kaylane has impressed the coaching staff during Brazil's training camp and could debut in the upcoming matches against the USA.

One of the top prospects in Brazilian women's football, Kaylane, is entering a significant chapter in her career. The 17-year-old Flamengo midfielder has received her first call-up to the senior Brazil women's national team for the friendly matches against the United States.

During the training sessions at the Neo Química Arena, the young player has made a strong impression on the coaching staff. Head coach Arthur Elias suggested that she might get an opportunity to play in the upcoming games this Saturday and next Tuesday.

"It is possible. We have the chance to make many changes, and she is training very well. It is impressive how she does not feel the weight of being in the senior squad environment, even with little experience at the professional level," said Arthur Elias.

Elias noted that while she still plays frequently for Flamengo's youth categories, he sees unique potential in her for the future of the national team. He emphasized that although experience is vital at this level, her recent performance shows she is ready to compete for minutes.
