Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is seriously considering leaving Real Madrid this summer. Despite having a contract that runs until 2030, the 27-year-old is unwilling to remain a backup option behind Thibaut Courtois and is seeking a starting position.
Lunin impressed during his stint in the starting lineup while the Belgian international was recovering from a serious injury. However, he returned to the bench once Courtois regained full fitness, a situation the Ukrainian player is reportedly no longer willing to accept.
Inter Milan has emerged as the primary contender for his signature. The Italian club is looking for a goalkeeper for their long-term project and is prepared to offer Lunin a consistent role. The player is reportedly open to the move, viewing Serie A as an ideal destination to secure regular playing time at the highest level.
