While his former teammates with the France national team are competing on the international stage, West Ham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola is spending his summer break differently. The 33-year-old, under contract with the London club until 2027, is also an active DJ and was invited to perform last weekend at the Celestry festival held at Windsor Racecourse.

The 2018 World Cup winner shared his excitement about the experience on his social media channels.

This is an incredible place, the atmosphere is just crazy. People really enjoy the music. We were welcomed perfectly, my children came with me. I really enjoyed my set. It was short, but I hope to be part of it next year.

The coaching staff opted for the younger Robin Risser (21) this year, leaving Areola out of the squad after he served as the third-choice goalkeeper for France in the previous two World Cup editions.
