Midfielder Bayern Munich's Aleksandar Pavlovic was a primary transfer target for Manchester City. According to reports from BILD, the English giants were prepared to invest approximately €100 million to sign the 22-year-old German international to bolster their midfield.
Despite the substantial financial package on offer, Pavlovic declined the proposal. The German midfielder chose to remain in Munich to continue his development with the club, where he is regarded as one of the brightest young talents for both his team and the German national squad.
Following the rejection, Manchester City had to adjust their recruitment strategy. The failed pursuit of Pavlovic led the club to pivot their attention toward alternative targets, specifically focusing on Enzo Fernandez.
