Alberto Gilardino to take charge of Parma
Italian manager Alberto Gilardino has been appointed as the new head coach of Parma, replacing Carlos Cuesta.

Parma have reached an agreement to appoint Alberto Gilardino as their new head coach. The 44-year-old tactician replaces Carlos Cuesta, who parted ways with the club by mutual consent.
According to Fabrizio Romano, both parties have already agreed on the terms of the contract, and Gilardino is set to lead the Parma project with immediate effect.
This move marks a return to Parma for the former striker, who played for the club between 2002 and 2005. During that spell, he scored 56 goals in 116 appearances before moving to AC Milan and eventually winning the World Cup with Italy in 2006.
Gilardino brings significant coaching experience to the role, having previously managed Genoa in Serie A and also held a position at Pisa.
