Argentine Football Association (AFA) President Claudio "Chiqui" Tapia has officially requested that FIFA allocate more tickets for Argentina supporters for the upcoming second-round World Cup match against Cape Verde. The fixture is scheduled to take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami this Friday, July 3.

Speaking to "Vorterix," Tapia explained the urgency behind the request, noting that demand has far outstripped supply. He stated that approximately fifty thousand fans have traveled to Miami without tickets. The AFA leadership is currently in discussions with FIFA, hoping that previously purchased tickets that remain unused will be released back into the system for general sale.

This match is highly anticipated due to the large Latino population in the Miami area, which is expected to create a home-like atmosphere for the Argentina squad. Support for the team has been overwhelming throughout the group stage, and the intensity is expected to scale up in Florida.

Regarding the team's prospects, Tapia expressed strong confidence in Argentina's goal of securing back-to-back world titles. While aiming for the final on July 19, he stressed the need for caution and taking the tournament one game at a time.

Argentina enters Friday's match as the favorite against Cape Verde, who have emerged as the surprise package of the tournament so far. The winner of this tie will face either Egypt or Australia in the next round.
