A new prospect is emerging within the Brighton ranks: 18-year-old Younes Ibrahim. His recent inclusion on the first-team bench under manager Fabian Hürzeler signals that the club sees him as a key part of their future development plans.
Ibrahim’s journey began at Luton Town and Chelsea before he moved to the south coast. His progress through the youth system has been marked by significant output, including nine goals and five assists last season, showcasing his ability to operate as both a winger and a false nine.
Beyond his club development, Ibrahim finds himself in a unique international position. Born in Australia, he also qualifies for England through residency, while his Egyptian and Moroccan heritage makes him eligible for those nations as well.
