Karpaty Lviv midfielder Yan Kostenko shared his thoughts following his team's 3-0 victory over Bukovyna in the UPL. Despite the comfortable scoreline, the player admitted that the match was far from easy for his side.
Kostenko acknowledged that Bukovyna posed a significant threat throughout the game, creating several dangerous opportunities. He stated that the opponent deserved to get on the scoresheet, and that a goal for them could have drastically changed the dynamics of the match.

The goalscorer also described his own contribution, noting that after a collision with the referee in midfield, he managed to recover and finish a cross from Roman into an empty corner. He revealed that during the half-time break, the team held a candid discussion to address their defensive lapses and increase their intensity for the second half.
