Arsenal forward Kai Havertz has made it clear that the club is not satisfied with just one trophy following their Premier League title success last season. After ending their long wait for the league crown, the Gunners have opened the new campaign in strong form, defeating Manchester City to lift the Community Shield and easing to a victory in their opening league fixture.
When you have that taste of winning one title then you want to do it again, and we have a team that can compete for every title possible. We want to win everything. Kai Havertz
Since joining from Chelsea in 2023 for £65 million, the German international has become a vital component of Mikel Arteta's side. With the Premier League title secured last term, Arsenal also came close to European glory, falling only in a penalty shootout to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final.
The squad is now bracing for a demanding schedule that includes the Champions League, the Carabao Cup, and the FA Cup. Havertz emphasizes that the team's confidence is high as they prepare for their upcoming clash at Villa Park against Aston Villa.
Off the pitch, the club continues to secure its long-term future. On Saturday, Arsenal confirmed that 17-year-old defender Marli Salmon has signed his first professional contract. A standout from the Hale End academy, Salmon has already gained senior experience, making his debut in the Champions League and starting in an FA Cup victory last season.
