Vladyslav Veleten: 'I've probably never shot this much in one game'
The Polissya winger reflected on the team's dominant win against Kudrivka and the coach's tactical demands.

Polissya winger Vladyslav Veleten shared his thoughts following his team's emphatic 5-1 victory over Kudrivka in the Ukrainian Premier League.
The forward noted that the squad worked hard to remain focused after recent high-profile results. «The head coach repeated several times not to dwell on victories. We celebrated for 20-30 minutes, then moved on. We lost to Zorya after beating Kharkiv, so it was important not to let that happen again,» he explained.
Veleten also touched on his personal performance and hunger for goals. «I wanted to score, so I kept running forward and shooting many times. I've probably never shot this much in one game. The coach has always said that even when the score is high and the game is controlled, you have to play until the end to build your stats and reputation,» the winger added.
I believe we could have scored many more goals, I don't want to say how many. But Kudrivka probably had chances to score one or two against us as well. Vladyslav Veleten
