Unai Emery cannot guarantee Ollie Watkins will stay at Aston Villa

Striker Ollie Watkins could be the latest star to leave Aston Villa this summer, with manager Unai Emery unable to guarantee he will stay at the club beyond the transfer deadline.
The England international is the subject of interest from Saudi side Al-Hilal, and Emery confirmed that bids have been made for the 30-year-old, though he stressed he does not want to sell.

Should Watkins depart, he would join an exodus that has already seen Ezri Konsa move to Arsenal and Morgan Rogers join Chelsea, alongside the exits of Youri Tielemans and Lucas Digne.
Watkins has been a vital part of Villa's success since his 2020 arrival from Brentford, becoming the club's record scorer in the Premier League with 108 goals. Emery emphasized that any potential departure must be beneficial for all parties involved, including the player, the club, and the squad's competitive balance.
