Jose Mourinho was spotted at the DFB-Pokal final between Bayern Munich and Stuttgart in Berlin this Saturday. The 63-year-old manager, who is widely expected to take over at Real Madrid shortly, attended the match accompanied by a representative from the Gestifute agency.
Mourinho's appearance in the VIP stands has fueled speculation regarding his transfer plans for the upcoming summer. The primary target of his scouting mission appears to be winger Michael Olise, who was named the Bundesliga Player of the Season after a prolific campaign featuring 22 goals and 30 assists in 52 appearances.
Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeness responded sharply to the reports of Mourinho's interest in the Frenchman:
He can cast five eyes on Olise; he won’t get him. He remains unsellable. I hope I don't run into him, because he could have saved himself the trip from Madrid.Uli Hoeness
While the move to appoint the Portuguese manager at the Bernabeu is still being finalized, his presence at the stadium indicates that he is already scouting targets to overhaul the Madrid squad. Despite the interest, Bayern's leadership remains firm in their stance that their star winger is not for sale.
