The Ukraine U-19 national team has officially begun preparations for the final stage of the 2026 European Championship. The squad, led by coach Dmytro Mykhailenko, has departed for a training camp aimed at fine-tuning their strategy and reaching peak fitness for the tournament.
The upcoming competition presents a significant challenge for the young Ukrainians. The team has been drawn into a tough group, where they will face their peers from Croatia, Serbia, and Italy.
Ukraine will kick off their Euro 2026 campaign on June 29 with a match against Croatia. This will be followed by a fixture against Serbia on July 2, and the group stage will conclude with a match against Italy on July 5.
The coaching staff intends to use this training period to ensure the team is fully prepared both physically and tactically for the demands of the tournament.
