French side Toulouse has officially announced the acquisition of 20-year-old midfielder Thomas Jorgensen from Danish club Viborg. Specific details regarding the length of the contract have not been disclosed.
According to reports, the fixed transfer fee is 7.5 million euros, with an additional 2.5 million euros structured in bonuses. If these add-ons are triggered, this move will establish a new record for the most expensive incoming transfer in Toulouse's history, surpassing the 8 million euros paid for Wesley Said.
Jorgensen joins the squad following a productive stint in Denmark, having scored one goal in four appearances this season. During the previous campaign, the midfielder recorded five goals and nine assists in 36 matches.
