Tottenham are pushing to secure a high-profile double deal for Manchester City attackers Savinho and Omar Marmoush. Discussions between the two Premier League clubs are currently progressing as manager Roberto De Zerbi seeks to finalize his squad before the transfer window closes.
Savinho, who was a target for Spurs last summer, was notably excluded from City's squad for their recent Community Shield match. Meanwhile, Omar Marmoush, who has served as a backup to Erling Haaland at City, is also considered likely to move on this window as he seeks more consistent playing time.
This pursuit comes after a record-breaking summer of investment for Tottenham, who have already spent over £200 million on players like Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes. The club's spending power has been bolstered by a strategic financial shift from owners ENIC and significant player sales, such as the departure of Luka Vuskovic.
De Zerbi recently signaled that the club was preparing a surprise attacking signing to resolve their depth issues up front, particularly given Dominic Solanke’s injury struggles and Richarlison’s contract status. The acquisition of both Savinho and Marmoush would significantly upgrade the team's firepower and underline their ambition for a top-four finish.
