Tottenham Hotspur are exploring a potential move for 25-year-old Spanish midfielder Baena. According to reports from La Razón, the London club could be prepared to table a bid worth 80 million euros during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Strengthening the attacking third has become a priority for the Spurs management. The club is seeking a creative spark to bolster their front line and compensate for the absence of Xavi Simons, who is currently sidelined due to injury.
Baena's technical profile and his ability to create goal-scoring opportunities for teammates make him a compelling option for the side. His arrival would provide increased competition and greater tactical flexibility for the squad.
At this stage, the interest remains exploratory. There are no official agreements in place, and any further progress will depend on the stance of the player's current club and Tottenham's willingness to commit to such a significant financial outlay.
