Timeless legacy: Djurgarden reveal 135th anniversary kit valid for the 2161 season
Djurgardens IF and adidas have launched a 135th-anniversary jersey that doubles as a functional season ticket for the 2161 Allsvenskan campaign.

Swedish giants Djurgardens IF have partnered with adidas to launch a unique 135th-anniversary jersey that pushes the boundaries of long-term fan engagement. The limited-edition shirt is designed to function as a valid season ticket for the 2161 Allsvenskan campaign, bridging the club's storied past with the distant future.
This initiative emphasizes the club's philosophy that players, staff, and supporters are merely temporary custodians of the club's identity. To ensure the legacy is preserved, one exclusive jersey will be kept in a climate-controlled, sealed display case until the start of the 2161 season, ensuring a pristine version remains for future generations.
The kit's aesthetic pays homage to the club's lore, specifically the "Järnkaminerna" (The Iron Stoves) identity. Featuring a steel-grey colourway with metallic detailing, the design reflects the club's hard-nosed spirit. It also reintroduces the original four-pointed star crest to the chest, connecting the modern kit to the club's early history.
Supporters will see the kit on the pitch long before it is needed for its 2161 ticketing purpose. The men's team will debut the jersey against Västerås SK on August 3, while the women's team is set to wear it against IK Uppsala on August 8. The campaign highlights local Stockholm fans, celebrating the community that has sustained the club for over a century.
